David Clarence Suchomski

	Mr. David Clarence Suchomski, of rural Pinckneyville, departed this life at the Washington County Hospital in Nashville on Monday, August 13, 2001 at 12:32 p.m. after a sudden illness.  He was 75.
	Mr. Suchomski was born on January 3, 1926 in Perry County, the son of Michael and Mary V. (Wrzesniewski) Suchomski.  He was united in marriage to Dorothy Marie Wagner at St. Barbara Catholic Church at Scheller on August 30, 1952 and she survives his passing.
	David was a retired farmer and operated a saw mill.  he was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 520 of Mitchell and was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at Todds Mill.
 	Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Dorothy Suchomski of rural Pinckneyville; nine children, Marilyn (Scott) Haberl of St. Louis, Mo., Shirley (John) Kissell of Olathe, Kan., Helen (Robert) Starkweather of Kingsland, Tex., Catherine Jean Suchomski of Pinckneyville, Wayne (Sandra) Suchomski of Pinckneyville, Pauline Suchomski of Rantoul, Leo (Sandra) Suchomski of Ashley, Edward Suchomski of Pinckneyville and Lucille Suchomski of Swansea; nine grandchildren; a sister, Theresa (Mel) Gattie of Cape Coral, Fla.; nieces, nephews, other relations and friends.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Anna Perjak and Cecelia Barebo and two brothers, Al and Joseph Suchomski.
	Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at Todds Mill on Saturday, August 18 at 10 a.m. with Fr. James Van Oss officiating.  Interment was in the church cemetery.
	Friends called at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
	 A Vigil Prayer Service was held at the Campagna Funeral Home Friday at 7 p.m.
	Should friends desire, Mass offerings or memorial contributions to the American Heart Association may be made.
